Greg Redner has been the Director of Bands at Patricia E. Paetow High School since opening Paetow in 2017. Redner has been a member of the team that established the fine arts department, campus culture, and school traditions. Under his direction, the Paetow Bands have consistently earned superior ratings on the marching field and concert stage.
At Paetow, Redner builds strong relationships with students, staff, parents and administrators while contributing to campus leadership as Fine Arts Department Chair. He works with Fine Arts teachers, department leaders, and administrators to support the vision for Paetow High School. He collaborates with instructional coaches to implement professional development designed to align instructional practices and strengthen the fine arts campus vision.

His motivation for teaching is rooted in his own experience as a student. His band directors fostered a familial culture centered around high expectations, inspiring him to achieve more than he believed possible. In his classroom, he provides a safe, supportive learning environment where students are challenged, and empowered to meet and exceed high expectations.

Kevin Thompson

Kevin Thompson is the Associate Director of Bands at Paetow High School in the Katy Independent School District. Originally from Westlake Village California, he moved to Texas in 2010. He received his Bachelors in Music Education from the University of North Texas, studying with Professor Dennis Fisher, Dr. Nicholas Williams, Dr. Darhyl Ramsey, and more during his time at the University of North Texas.
During his summers, Mr. Thompson serves on the instructional staff for the SASi Drum Major and Leadership camps, working with hundreds of Drum Majors and Student Leaders across Texas.Mr. Thompson’s professional affiliations include Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, North American Saxophone Alliance, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.

Thomas Osborne

Assistant Director of Bands - Percussion Director​

Thomas Osborne is the Assistant Director of Bands and Percussion Director at Paetow High School for the 2026-27 school year. Originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Oxford, England, he received his Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance at Baylor University, where he studied with Todd Meehan, Arlo Shultis, J. Eric Wilson, Isaiah Odajima, and Stuart Ivey. He was also a 2024 member of the Santa Clara Vanguard, where he studied under Paul and Sandi Rennick and received the Fred Sanford Award for High Percussion Performance.
Mr. Osborne performed with the Baylor Wind Ensemble, Baylor Symphony Orchestra, and Baylor Percussion Group during his undergraduate studies, appearing at several major conferences, including TMEA and CBDNA. He also served as a substitute percussionist for the Waco Symphony Orchestra.
As an educator, Mr. Osborne has worked with programs across Texas and Colorado. He continues to serve as a drumline instructor and arranger for the Baylor University Golden Wave Band. He also works as a bass drum technician for the Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps. Prior to his current positions, he served as a percussion instructor for many schools across Texas, including schools in Leander ISD and McKinney ISD.
Outside of music, Mr. Osborne enjoys spending time outdoors whenever he can. He is a licensed amateur radio operator and has served as a trained storm spotter with the National Weather Service. When outdoors, he enjoys hiking, playing soccer, and exploring new places.

Jasmine Cousineau​

Jasmine Cousineau is the Color Guard Director at Patricia E. Paetow High School in Katy, TX. With over 17 years of experience in the activity, she brings a strong passion for excellence, leadership, and student development.
Ms. Cousineau has an accomplished performance background, having marched with Les Éclipses Winter guard in Canada as well as world class drum corps including The Cadets and Carolina Crown, where she served as captain during her final seasons. She is a two-time Drum Corps bronze medalist, including earning a first-place Color Guard award.
In addition to performing, Cousineau spent seven years on staff with Les Éclipses Winter guard, serving as designer and caption head for three seasons, helping lead the ensemble to a bronze medal in Independent A class finals at the 2024 World Championships.
